Finding Axamonar

We come upon the situation where we heard Axamonar in some kind of scuffle. It’s clear that Axamonar is slightly taller as we come up to him, and he’s smoking a little. We explain to Axamonar what’s going on with Kincaid and his mid-undeath crisis that came from finding out about his daughter and what she said to him. We explain that Kincaid has agreed to help us stop Izoraxx while he works to recreate his daughter. Bosch also explains that we need to wait on some guy to make a pocket prison for Izoraxx so we have some time.

Axamonar made acquaintance with some trolls and he ultimately took care of them. He wishes he had his full powers and he could really take care of things. He comments that some people around here use trolls (for laborers, or banditry). He stopped them and didn’t really ask what they were doing or trying to get done. He asks if he should go with us and we ask if he needs more time to work on his current form, or otherwise if he needs our help.

The Safehouse

We discuss our plans and part of it is that we wish to let everyone know that the unrest is not singular and that there are people willing to fight if they band together - basically, we want to start a revolution. Axamonar discusses that we could possibly take over the broadcasts that are putting our image out there.

Bobbi Clapperclaw was listening to us and she managed to overhear that the Izoraxx managed to convince enough people that the Dark Demesne were controlling people and he ousted all of his opposition so that he could be placed as an Archsage and then they put Izoraxx at the head of the emergency council, which is how he rose to power. The other sages that were ousted are kept at different facilities - some in Jewel, but others in other facilities that might be more accessible since Jewel is so dangerous to get to. She offers to find where the nearest council member is held for us.

She believes that there is someone being held in the Hollow World somewhat nearby. It’s someone that Faylen knows and is an acquaintance of - his name is Kovar Anranios, an elven council member. It’s deeper than where Noxitudo is - one of the deepest places you can go, he’s in a settlement called Point Chasm. This is a place where criminals get a second chance and are allowed to be colonists of the Hollow World. There’s a pretty involved prison there, but it’s not high security.

Emer Kaine Update

We are eventually approached by Kincaid and he explains that he’s located Emer Kaine, but they have not spoken as Emer is far away from where Kincaid currently is. Emer apparently has decided to avoid his brother at all costs and decided to go look at Point Chasm while trying to run away from his brother. We say that we are going to Point Chasm and we can go see Emer there, and ask what to tell him. Kincaid says we are rather diplomatic and can likely figure it out.

Kincaid will give us a skull so that we can continue to converse with him, and he explains that Clapperclaw can give us more information to go down. We talk with her about this and she gives Bosch a new disguise ring, which winds up turning him into a cheery little halfling. She explains then that Point Chasm is not a very unified settlement - there’s prisoners, the guards, the other people who are otherwise uninvolved with the prison. We then need to figure out a reason to be in Point Chasm and how to get there, and Clapperclaw offers some legitimate business, but it will take some time to put together.

The other issue is that teleportation doesn’t go all the way down to Point Chasm - she can get us as close as possible, but we will have to get there on our own otherwise. Once we’re down there we get int touch with Emer Kaine and then try to save Anranios.

Axamonar teaches Faylen the spell sending.

Bosch Adventures

Bosch and Tabby go to the magical district and Bosch finds someone who seems to be a specialist in magical items. Bosch explains we need something to manipulate a broadcast of some kind and the shopkeep says to find where the broadcast is from and change it there if you have a deathwish, or he has a kit that can help to hijack the broadcast so we are able to change the broadcast. He trades his gloves to get this.

As Tabby is standing there, he feels something get pushed into his back and a voice tell him not to move. After a shocked moment, Tabby turns around and sees Akker, who asks what we’re up to. Tabby explains we’re going down to Point Chasm and Akker’s suggestion is that w don’t go there because he knew a guy that went there and never came back. Tabby says there’s someone we need to rescue and Akker understands, commenting that we were responsible for the Firmament.

There’s a little more chatting and Akker comments that there’s a lot of money being offered for us. Akker suddenly feels fingers to his back, and a comment about don’t move. Akker is delighted to hear Bosch and they start talking. Bosch explains we aren’t enemies with Kincaid anymore, though we aren’t really friends either. Akker comments that we’re going to Point Chasm and Bosch says yeah, we’re gonna see if we can steal some stuff from Izoraxx while we’re there.

Bosch comments that there’s talk of revolution - by which he means we’re going to start talking about that. The chat wraps up and Bosch winds up going to Akker and asking for Akker to do something for him while we’re down in Point Chasm.
