After combat with the Keepers of the Light ends, Suresh notices another streamer - a music artist - having a meet and greet and he goes to do that. As we are moving through toward the area with the diplomatic speeches are to be held, there is an explosion and a gunfight starts somewhere in the distance. The crowd begins streaming away from the gunfire and we begin to cut our way through.
Zawisza - someone that knew Varya and Slushie in the past - comes up behind Slushie and shoves a pad into his hands and tells him to sign it. Slushie glances it over and can tell that this is simply a contract so that Slushie will hire him, and Slushie quickly signs it while Varya comes over and tries to run interference. Slushie quickly pulls Zawisza on the stream, introducing him to the followers (who make him a meme for 15 whole minutes).
During this, DJ Mike picks up the small otter-like creature (Kalan) that we were escorting to his speech and puts him into a box. While the box was originally going to be used to help boost him to height for his speech, but now is being used to keep him safe as the crowd streams past away from the violence.
V, Slushie, and Zawisza get re-acquainted, and then Ametrine and Zawisza introduce themselves to each other. Zawisza can sense a good business deal with Ametrine’s soap, especially after Slushie mentions how delicious it tastes.
The crowd disperses and we make it to the hall that our little friend is going to be giving his speech. There are doors here that are closed and locked, and we discuss how to try to get in as there is no guard out here when there should be. Ametrine tries to go find a guard while V and Zawisza climb up and into a window to get inside. The two of them work through the building and get the door open for all of us. We watch Kalan give his speech and are quite impressed by his ability to give them.
