The Bank Robbery

Rohan, Inky, Iskra, and Vitalii make it back to the church after stealing the bank, with the priest that hired them in tow. The priest comments that they’re quite good at this, and asks if they would like to keep doing this. Inky considers it for a moment, but Iskra and Rohan do point out that they’re busy/in the middle of a “job” at this time. The priest blesses them so that they will always be welcome and recognized by any Changebringer temples such as The Changebringer Lodge.

The client that wanted the bank is a merchant by chance, and will have information with regards to the shipments that we are searching for. They talk a little more with the priest expounding on the fact that he would be very open to contracting with the group for more heists.

Ercari turns out to be the person who wanted the bank, and who might have information on the shipments. Rohan says that we believe people are being shipped - again sort of using the slave line like Arythas did at the party. Ercari comments that this is incredibly illegal and asks if we have any idea who it is. Rohan explains that the only lead we have is the name “The Lady”, and that up to ten people were shipped out. He thinks about it and admits that nobody will really admit that they’re buying people, but he can give entrance to the undermarket if we’d like.

Ercari can get probably about six people entrance into the undermarket. He comments that he won’t be too much help, but Rohan says that it’s very helpful if we can just get into the undermarket. Ercari says that it’s possible that the shipment may still be in the undermarket because The Lady may not have been able to pick things up yet. He can get us all in tomorrow, and we need to meet him at The Changebringer Lodge and he can take us there.

The Party

Adelaide Corvo and Dia’s father had left the party, going separate ways. Arythas has no desire to follow Peregrine and risk Dia being discovered, and he also doesn’t think that The Family of Light is knowingly related to the whole undead issue, and thus less of a threat than Adelaide.

The two get into the carriage and follow after Adelaide’s carriage and they have the chance to speak with each other, Denma, and their driver - who raises perfectly normal stealth horses. As we continue, Dia notices that we are not going to the Full Heart Inn nor to where Adelaide’s presumed living area is, but to a tertiary place. It turns out to be a love hotel that Adelaide confidently walks into and winks at the driver to send him off. Arythas stays in the carriage to see where the driver goes.

Tailing Adelaide (RIP Dia)

Dia does a quick outfit change and enters to love hotel, immediately bumping into someone with some force. The man tells her to watch where he’s going, and she recognizes that it’s her father Peregrine. It dawns on her that Peregrine is here with Adelaide, and he has been doing this for a while. She doesn’t quite understand what is going on here, and Arythas suggests perhaps it’s a deal for demonic powers?

Dia thinks on this, and she isn’t so sure: she genuinely thinks he just finds Adelaide attractive and they are - essentially - hatefucking. Peregrine is so self-centered that he very much thinks he’s just attracted to her, though there is a nonzero chance that she possibly has some mind alterations on him (very likely not though, honestly). Dia is desperately trying to find any reason to rationalize this in her mind where it’s not just two people having sex.

We decide to actually break into Peregrine’s hotel room - not the love hotel, just regular hotel - and there is absolutely security here, along with a hotel detective. Not much in the way of magic, mostly just “mooks” per se. If we get caught we will be arrested. Kestrel St. Clair can possibly get us out, but not before it becomes a large problem. Kestrel offers to help with it.
