Combat
Zimri heals the fallen envoy and we finish combat by killing the two guards and the executioner, which Achille beheads. Silver picks up the corpse of the deceased envoy (after Nymnar uses peaceful rest on it) to return it.
The Escape
We split up and run: Zimri takes two envoys and disappears into the crowd to head back to the portal area. Nymnar goes with Silver and uses shared invisibility so that they can run along the rooftops and get back quickly, making sure they aren’t seen since they’re invisible. Damaris and Achille push through the crowd.
We all make it to the warehouse and figure out who’s going where. We decide that Taraaq goes first with the corpse, then the envoys go, then Zimri, then Damaris, then Silver, then Achille, then Nymnar.
Combat continues and the envoys all get through, so it’s our turn. Zimri gets through and then Damaris. Silver goes down because of a sea drake and Nymnar gets her back up with one of his thralls. Pyrisou was swallowed whole by an orm, so he didn’t make it through the portal.
The rest of us manage to get through the portal.
