The Last Day in Jewel
Mary suggests that perhaps the younger members of the Warhawks that arenât as interested in the warmonger should band together to protect people who cannot protect themselves or otherwise help them rather than try to wage war. Orvel Onyons says thatâs a pretty decent idea, and he admits that he doesnât wish to party ways with us as this is the most positive reinforcement heâs had in a while and heâs not quite ready to give that up yet.
We are reminded that The Osprey is hunting us. Thereâs some conflicting information about them, but it seems that they are an assassin type that is working with or for the Warhawks. They seem to be able to teleport, or very effectively disguise or hide themselves so they are not able to be easily found.
We do need to head north to find another piece of the Seal of Infinity but there is no train that runs that way. Bosch is sad that we will not have a murder mystery, and Orvel is sad that he missed out on that. Torchy speaks up and suggests that we join a group already going north, as we are all rather conspicuous here in Jewel. We could join an expedition heading north, or perhaps Sage Axamonar might have something headed up that way. Tabby agrees that this is a decent idea because we could do some guard work for such a group.
Faylen recommends we avoid using Sage Axamonar because we are becoming known to be associated with him. Tabby points out that could make it hard to be incognito with that kind of name attached to us, and Bosch recommends that we get better disguises! Mary says maybe, but not forever!
We discuss some more and Tabby does comment that he could ask around to try to find a rumor to see if there is a caravan leaving, or something. Bosch says that it would be super convenient if we suddenly had a Fae presence to send us to the Hollow World right now!
As we talk, we notice The Osprey climbing on the window outside of our room. He slips and we hear a muffled scream below. The Osprey begins climbing down and we quickly make our way down to engage with them, and combat begins.
The Osprey(s)
- AC: â 23
- Low will
- Relatively low health pool
- Attacks in group but does not work together as group very well
The Ospreys are not particularly difficult to defeat. We spare the last one and Mary asks for the location of the leader of the Warhawks. The leader is Lady Ikbur and she is in Craghall Keep, up north in the mountains. We will never be able to lay siege to this place.
