I was gone for this session.
The entire group saw Opal burst into flames, which also happened to Faylen and Vigor and Vogue. They were not killed, but teleported to Elsewhere. They are in a gigantic chamber seemingly made out of white stone, and it is hot.
The clown was defeated and is gone. Talitha got the last strike on Oddball the Clown! The beastmaster left with the tiger and the bear and they have not been seen since.
Lore update:
New lore dropped: instead of having deities, this setting has immortals. Immortals all used to be mortal, and maybe aren’t quite on the level of deities as they’re usually known, but are still quite powerful. It’s believed that a while back, two members of the same adventuring party ascended. One was Kaymanth the Shadow, and the other was Astrobolesia the Phoenix. They do not get along. Also, Kaymanth has successfully killed multiple other immortals, so it seems they aren’t truly immortal.
