Emerick has found information on Ida:
- She has a highly mutative strain of cancer, but doesn’t let herself be stopped by it.
- She has some connection with a rival CEO, Leon Yates, though he’s unsure how much.

It was clear to Emerick in Session 030 that Ida wanted to elaborate on her personal inspiration for the bot, but she held herself back as it was a public address and not an appropriate forum for her to talk about such things.
In talking to Ida, Emerick was very complimentary and gracious. He did his best to show a genuine interest in the bot, and lauded her for her technical achievements as well as her general interest in the safety and well-being of the public.
In Session 046
She worked for a security firm and her family tried to get into the invention fairs. She had an amazing idea to revolutionize the world and change the way people live their lives and have an amazing impact on the world. When they’d shown up to the invention fair denied them all entry, saying they had never paid the entry fee and feigned not recognizing any of them, and brushed them off. A month or two later, that same company released a new piece of tech that was very similar to what Ida was going to present at that showcase. She has her invention fair so open so that everyone can have a chance to make their mark on the world instead of having their work stolen out from under them.
Emerick also realizes that with the Spyder Bot going into peoples’ homes, she will be able to spy on literally everyone.
