Session Date: 05/11/2026
Session Start - Mary’s Home
Faylen had been helping cataloging Salaavethor’s items - we’ve moved beyond books and are just now cataloging all the stuff that Sal finds. Faylen does ultimately need to leave and join his friends on their adventure. Sal gives him an item that essentially gives us access to cozy cabin and then he appears with his friends: there is Mary, Bosch, Tabby (maybe), and a very small leshy that is now Axamonar.
Axamonar explains that he isn’t able to cast very well and can more or less only cast cantrips in this form, so his plan of overwhelming force won’t work. Bosch says we will need to use trickery, but he has no plan at this moment. Izoraxx has sent beings out to hunt us down - the party has run into two elementals. Mary convinced them to check exactly what the lawful situation with us and Axamonar’s imprisonment, so their directives didn’t work well together so they have withdrawn for now, though they may return later.
Faylen learns that we are near Mary’s home. The druid that is sort of in charge is friendly and considers Mary a friend, though he will not be leaving the forest. He does offer to send us to another forest if we have the name of one.
Axamonar explains that we need one more piece of the Seal of Infinity and if he could have the full one, he could use his power to uproot Izoraxx from his position, though that is dangerous. He will need time to review and work on his power, and so we need to figure out how to conceal him and give him time. Faylen suggests that we leave him with Clapperclaw’s daughter, and we know that she has a base in the Core of Crime, which we need to go to so that we can deal with Kincaid anyway.
Bosch explains that there’s an entrance near Aramos and he can take us to the core of crime, but he wants to watch us all commit at least one crime. Mary’s nature crime is that she separates a young raven from its flock as a familiar for the apprentice, and Bosch says he will allow Faylen to commit a math crime. Faylen and Tabby think about it.
The druid here opens a way to the forest near Aramos for us. After he and Mary say their goodbyes, we step thought he portal.
Aramos
We hear laughter and talking nearby - a scientist who is practicing his unhinged monologue. Once he notices us, he will grow suddenly very shy and Bosch asks which way Aramos is. He points us and says that it’s quite close. Bosch compliments his speech and then we move on to Aramos.
While we are there, Bosch decides to go to a shop and Dr. Cecily Sÿtz gets his attention and pulls him aside. She asks if we are all here and Bosch comments that perhaps we let him go, and she doesn’t believe that. He lets her know that we were responsible for the falling of the Firmament, which puts her out.
She will give us help if we can do something to help her - she’s unhappy with the occupation of Izoraxx and his cronies. She comments that he is wanting to shut down the academy and suddenly the students there are learning far less combat magic. Bosch lets her know we are all here, yes, and she gives him a slip of paper with the address on it. He agrees to meet her later and she offers to create a distraction for him. He says it’s not needed, but he wants to see it anyway. She tosses a vial and things appear and give the guards noogies and wedgies. On the way out, Bosch grabs items that he can disguise himself as an Old Goblin, the kind with a hunch and the like.
The rest of us go to visit the Igors while Bosch is off doing his thing and we see that the Igors are doing pretty well, all things considered. They are not rocking the boat so they are generally doing alright.
Mary finds the note from Sÿtz with the address to her home. We mosey on that way and find that her house is insanely normal. It throws Faylen off for a moment., but we approach and knock. She greets us and is momentarily confused - Faylen shows the note and then realizes they’re disguised and explains who they are. She lets us in and asks how things are, and we say that it’s been a lot. We’ve been all sorts of places. Sÿtz explains that she knows about the future travel and she is glad to heLP us. (She hates saying it but she’s getting better at it!)
She says she’s sure we know what she’s done for Bosch, and we are clearly unaware. She will let Bosch explain when he comes to.
Sÿtz explains that we can stay in her home, but we cannot go to her office as there are a lot of people that go in and out and people would absolutely mention the new guests that she doesn’t normally keep. Faylen explains that we hope that we won’t be in her hair for too long, which Tabby agrees and he asks what’s happened here since it’s like a police state.
Things have definitely escalated in the month or so that we were gone on our time travel adventures. We chat about getting rid of Izoraxx and eventually Bosch wakes and demonstrates what she implanted into him: regenerative runes!
