Session Date: 06/29/2024

Valentine’s player is taking a bit of a break + Hiera’s player has been hard to access as of late so the two will appear at a later time.

As we all move through the teleportation we all experience something wildly different.

Yuna “glitches” and is in a cavern that is very familiar with a lot of Drow in different states of cultish behaviors. She sees a group of Drow drawing another very familiar symbol on the floor: it starts to turn into a portal for a moment, with one jumping in. The portal “short circuits” and the legs of the Drow there. Yuna yells hello to them.

Killian finds himself in a cottage in a forest. He hears behind him the voice of Grandmother Hemlock - she laughs and says that he’s back. He says that he thought he was going to Golarion and she says he is, this is just the most interesting part. She says that we have to alter some things, reassuring that Killian is not in trouble, but Rend is raging saying things aren’t fair, and Killian asks what that means, and she says that he’s being sent back with a friend. Grandmother Hemlock says that Rend need some time off since he killed some people that he shouldn’t have, and she says that Killian needs help and Rend needs a change of perspective.

Valentine disappears and is sent to the equivalent of Mars, with something similar to Hiera. We know that they will be back.

Opal goes to another place where there were clowns and some nice people, and then things go black in a wreath of flames.

Ria goes somewhere where the lions are and it’s home.

Rend as a cat crawls out of Killian’s back and there’s a whole thing of Killian explaining that the cat is one of his patrons, Rend. Yuna attempts to pick him up and Rend bites the shit out of her, and so she asks if he wants pets, and Killian explains that Rend probably wants no such treatment as he’s not normally a cat, and his other patron has a mean sense of humor.

An older man opens the door of the cellar that we are in and sees us, thinking we are trying to rob him. Opal lies and says that he’s well off and that he is a powerful mage who couldn’t control where we teleported to in order to hide from the assassins. He for some reason believes Opal and welcomes us to Daggermark, and explains we were put into the cellar of the tavern The Toxic Tonic.

Daggermark:

City of assassins. Guild of Assassins and Guild of Poisoners are the most important guilds in the city. This place is technically led by a person - Lord of Daggermark - but who has money is really who runs the city. There is a rule that you cannot assassinate people from the military, and only once that rule was created did a military form in Daggermark. The city is close to anarchy but there’s no chaos directly in the streets.

Opal knows this because of his father’s dealings. The gentleman takes us to the service part of the tavern and sits us down and insists that we have something to eat since we broke into his cellar. Rend is pacing next to Killian angrily as he gets used to the cat body. The man asks Ria if she can turn into a lion and make it look like an accident, and she is so confused as to what he’s trying to imply. A cat comes over to Yuna for pets, giving Rend a very wide berth.

Opal slipped the man two gold coins and we slip out of the bar while Yuna pets the cat. We all argue about whether Opal went to another dimension or not, with Opal rather upset that we didn’t know that he didn’t have a scar before the teleportation back to Golarion.

We opt to get horses for the trip back to Sevenarches and we move through the city to try to find a stables with horses for sale. Opal heads towards some horses that have been painted to look healthier than they are, and Killian stops him and points him towards some horses that are actually healthy.

All of us mount up and head out of the city and head toward Sevenarches. Ria and Killian ride together, with Opal and Yuna together on another horse. As we are going a man on the road shifts into a bear form and points at Ria, who high fives him out of solidarity.

There are a lot of people on the way out of the city and toward Sevenarches. Opal is aware of the Outlaw Council that meets every year, though he doesn’t have a lot of details because he doesn’t care that much about it really.

The next small town over is inside of Shroudwood, Wilkesmont. Ria heads us in the direction toward Wilkersmont as she is aware that Opal likely would not fare well with roughing it (and also she isn’t confident that we can necessarily hunt off the land to sustain us).
